ABOUT US


ASIAPHIL offers a full range of power connection needs of power generation (and transmission) and electric distribution utilities as well as commercial and industrial facilities in the Philippines. Established in 1973 by Engr. Guillermo T. Batungbacal, the company has expanded from manufacturing electrical panel boards and switch gears to venturing into electric connection.

To date, the ASIAPHIL is comprised of eight major business areas focusing on different areas of expertise to serve clients from various industries as follows :

  1. ASIAPHIL Inc. designs, builds, and energizes turn-key power solutions that includes turn-key substations, grid connection, inter-island submarine cable connection, overhead/underground transmission line installation, installation of power generation equipment, in-plant electrical works and operations and maintenance works.
     

  2. GTB Industrial Network Inc. is a leading distributor, agent, stockist of electrical tools, components and equipment.

  3. ASIAPHIL South Luzon, Inc, subcontracts metal and steel structure fabrication and coating

  4. USTESTING Inc., specializes on transformer oil testing services.

​

  5. ASIAPHIL Electric Pampanga Inc. leverages on the group’s competency in manufacturing and                assemblies of electrical switch gears and control panels with factories in Pampanga and Batangas.

  6. ASIAPHIL Energy Solutions Inc. is centered on delivering power quality solutions and testing                    services with seven offices across the country.

  7. ASIAPHIL Systems Automation Inc. is an expert in Relay Protection and Control and substation                automation.

  8. ASIAPHIL Hope, Inc. offers rent-to-own substations to electric distribution utilities. â€‹â€‹

ASIAPHIL Incorporated then Asiaphil Manufacturing Industries, Inc.
 

  • was founded on July 11, 1973 by Guillermo T. Batungbacal (known as GTB in the industry)

  • started as a distribution agent for a company called ITE World Trade USA

  • engaged in manufacturing/assembly of electrical panel boards and switchgears

  • outsourced its sheet metal fabrication from a manufacturing plant in Bulacan with assembly done in GTB's own backyard
